Our company

Founded in the 1960's, Metalfac Van Houts started bij serving local markets with construction steel products, from its own warehouse located in Beveren.

Gradually, own production and steel wire processing capacity was installed, and since the 1980's activities were transferred from the original to the current much larger facility at the Doornpark Industrial area in Beveren.

The production line currently consists of rebar straightening and profiling machines, as well as rebar cutting lines. The most recent line is an automated shearline, commissioned end 2008, to keep up with the growing demand for made-to-order and tailor-made products.

Over the same period, activity expanded towards international markets as well, with markets being served now stretching from Latin America, Middle East to Africa and the Pacific.  Through the nearby Seaports and in close cooperation with our logistics providers, we take care of your shipment from FOB to C&F.

Our focus is on serving the needs of the individual customer, through extensive contacts with producers and importers and a flexible and responsive own production unit. Customers enjoy the wide range of products offered, the flexible and customer-oriented approach to deliver the right product, in time, at the best prices and of correct quality.
